An electrical contractor who has registered with the department pursuant to fulfilling the competency requirements in the jurisdiction for which the registration is issued. A "registered electrical contractor" may contract for electrical systems, including all specialty categories, only in the cities and/or counties for which his or her registration is issued. A "registered electrical contractor" MAY NOT contract for any alarm system.
